i've never done a formal wardrobe post before, but here we go! i'm keeping this to main pieces, blouses, and outerwear; i just don't have the energy to try taking photos of my legwear or other accessories. i keep a pretty meticulous spreadsheet of the things i own, so i don't feel like i need to reprise all of it with photos.

oh, what can i say that hasn't been said. this was the first main piece i purchased directly from a brand and it was a whole entire ordeal. it's so lovely and i'm so glad i had the chance to get it.

i got super lucky and found the JSK cut of this print shortly after deciding to sell the apron skirt cut - the apron skirt was so, so cute but just didn't fit me right. super underrated IW print, imo.

(L) Velveteen Royal Antique // BTSSB // aug 2021

while this isn't a true old school piece, it's got that classic/A-line construction that really calls to me from old school. plus, i didn't have a plain/simple piece in my wardrobe before i bought this! it's technically missing a pearl chain near the top of the bodice, but i don't like pearls so i'm a-ok with that.

this is one of my Holy Trinity dresses. i love astronomy themes and constellations, but i'm not an astrology person so i avoid prints with just the zodiac constellations in them. i'm so happy twinkle sky has other constellations (and it has orion, which is my fave!).

one of my favorite pieces. tartan AND velveteen AND braiding! this is also the oldest piece (in terms of when i got it) that i still own, and i have some great memories associated with it. i really want the accessories that came with the ouji (?) release of this.

holy trinity dress no.2! i love bats a lot and i am so, so glad that i got in on the preorder for this last run. i've started to hang this on clips, though; it's a bit too heavy to hang on its straps, and i'm starting to see some pulling of the strap seams :(

it's only technically part of my closet - i'm selling this piece, it doesn't really fit me. the print is lovely, but alas.

i love love LOVE the shoulder frills on this JSK - this cut is so incredibly flattering on me. it's a lucky pack item so the quality isn't exceptionally fantastic, but it's still a soft cotton and it's tartan and i love it.

holy trinity dress no.3 and definitely the no.1 dress in my heart. i love this print so much, i don't even have words - this is easily my favorite dress in my closet. i didn't understand why people get multiple colorways of an item until i held this in my hands.

(R) Antique Cutlery // IW // nov 2020

IW's cuts are super flattering on me and i like this royal-ish cutlery theme a lot! it has a belt as well, and i thought i wouldn't like it at all, but it really adds just the right amount of interest at just the right spot.

(L) Twinkle Tartan Heart Pocket // AP // sept 2020

the oldest (by release) item in my closet!! this colorway isn't on lolibrary, lol. another dress i store on clips because of the elastic straps. this JSK is also shockingly comfortable for how unforgiving it is; there's no shirring aside from the straps, and on paper i'm at max measurements.

ah, yes. "mint." a color that this dress definitely isn't. for real, though, photos don't do this color justice - it's really lovely in person. i kind of took a chance on this colorway (i always envisioned owning this in wine or black), but the more i looked at the "mint" (lol) the more i came to really, really like it. and i like everything i've coorded with it, too! it's shockingly versatile.

the only OP i own for good reason - i'm too tall and spindly for OPs. however, this one totally fits like a sackdress without the waist ties, and the sleeves are kinda almost long enough on me! this is another print i adore because, well, tartan.

coffee and lavender. do i need to say more?? it has pockets, it's comfy, it's amazing, i love this skirt.

(middle) Rose Letter // Metamorphose // jan 2022

my newest acquisition! i haven't coorded this yet, but this is SO much roomier than it looks. the stretch on the waistband elastic is nuts, it can easily go over my shoulders.

(bottom) Wonder Party // AP // jan 2021

i love this print so much, and i definitely want the shirring JSK at some point. the foil is such a cool and subtle addition to the print, and like, i think it's pretty clear by this point that tea/coffee is one of my Things.

blouses! i feel like my collar style preference is SO clear when they're laid out like this, lol. these are named L to R, top to bottom, and i don't have the individual style names for a lot of these.
