fic talk: a compromise!
Jul. 20th, 2019 05:53 pmi decided on a method for revisions that'll hopefully soothe my eternally nitpicky soul: as i reread part 1 for a context check, i'll let myself do whatever edits i feel like doing. nuke it to hell, cut things out willy-nilly, whatever, it's all living in a separate doc anyways. we'll see how it goes! maybe that'll get some of this restless GOTTA POST IT energy out of me.
i'm also not sure if this'll be beta'd before posting; my usual beta's got some stuff going on, and i don't want to add more stress on their pile by even asking. but! that's ok. their beta job on part 1 was so thorough and i learned *so much* from it that i can conclusively point to it and be like, "this, this here, this helped me become a better writer and better at revising my work." (that's seriously a whole 'nother post's worth of praise. e did a phenomenal job whipping part 1 into shape, and i am eternally grateful.) i feel good when i look back at the revised-but-unbeta'd things i've posted recently, so i know i can do a satisfactory job revising this on my own.
that said, if anyone reading this would be up for being a second set of eyes to any capacity (from a quick check for typos to unleashing hell on this document or anything in between), lemme know :B
